Code of
Conduct
The Company's Code of Conduct (Code) was issued and
took effect on 1 May 2007.
The Code consists of 8 parts.
Part One: President'
Address gives an overview of the Company and highlights
the significance of the Code.
Part Two: Introduction
explains its binding force and applicability, its
relationship with other corporate rules and policies,
consequences of Code violation, and reporting and
consulting channels in time of violation of the
Code.
Part Three: Ethics Compliance raises
fundamental requirements in professional ethics on all
employees, i.e. loyalty to the Company, integrity,
commitment, policy compliance, and public ethics
standards.
Part Four: Business Conduct governs
workplace discipline, employee relationship, training,
use of company resources, business activity, conflict of
interest, and self-discipline.
Part Five: Workplace
Behavior defines workplace dressing codes, office
etiquette and proper use of language.
Part Six: HSE
Requirements sets forth HSE guidelines, targets and
responsibilities.
Part Seven: Confidentiality
regulates intellectual property protection, information
disclosure and IT security.
Part Eight: Appendix is
about the amendment of the Code, along with 48 questions
and answers about the Code.
Employee Training and
Development
The Company believes that its people are the primary
